Acceptable Use Policy

GeneVPS Store provides VPS hosting for lawful, responsible, and legitimate online projects. This policy explains the activities permitted on our VPS infrastructure and the uses that are not allowed.

Responsible VPS Hosting

Customers are responsible for the websites, applications, files, services, and other content operated through their VPS. Your VPS must be used in compliance with applicable laws, third-party rights, and GeneVPS Store policies.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are not permitted on GeneVPS Store services.

Illegal Activities

Using VPS resources to facilitate, promote, or conduct activities that violate applicable laws or regulations.

Malware & Harmful Software

Hosting or distributing viruses, trojans, worms, ransomware, malware, or software designed to damage systems or data.

Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to servers, accounts, networks, systems, or data belonging to other parties.

Abusive Network Activity

Activities intended to disrupt, overload, interfere with, or compromise networks, infrastructure, or third-party services.

Spam & Unsolicited Messaging

Operating services primarily intended for unsolicited bulk email, abusive messaging, or unauthorized communication campaigns.

Intellectual Property Abuse

Hosting, distributing, or making available copyrighted, trademarked, or other protected material without appropriate authorization.

Fraudulent Activity

Using VPS services for scams, phishing, impersonation, fraudulent transactions, or deceptive activities.

Security Abuse

Port scanning, credential attacks, exploit attempts, botnet activity, or other unauthorized security testing against third-party systems.

System & Network Protection

VPS resources must not be used in a way that creates unreasonable risks or disruption for GeneVPS Store, network providers, or other customers.

Protect Credentials Keep passwords, API keys, SSH keys, and other access credentials secure.

Secure Your Applications Maintain applications, frameworks, plugins, and server software with appropriate security practices.

Prevent Abuse Take reasonable steps to prevent your VPS from being used for unauthorized or harmful activity.

Respect Network Resources Do not intentionally generate traffic or activity designed to disrupt network availability or services.

Security & Abuse Reports

If suspicious, abusive, or harmful activity is associated with a VPS, GeneVPS Store may review the available information and contact the affected customer for clarification or corrective action.

Review Reported activity may be reviewed based on available information and applicable policies.

Customer Cooperation Customers may be asked to investigate and address activity originating from their VPS.

Service Action Where appropriate, access may be restricted or a service may be suspended in accordance with applicable terms and policies.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their VPS, applications, websites, and hosted content remain compliant with applicable laws and GeneVPS Store policies.

Use services only for lawful purposes.

Respect copyright and intellectual property rights.

Protect your VPS credentials and server access.

Respond promptly to legitimate abuse or security concerns.

Important

GeneVPS Store may take reasonable action when a VPS is associated with prohibited activity, security risks, unlawful content, or activity that materially affects network operations or third parties. Any action will depend on the circumstances, available information, applicable law, and the governing service terms.
